After a visit to a hidden ecology park in London, surrounded by the cityscape, the idea of creating an installation which was not disturbing for the animals living in the surrounding has been developed.

Woven on thick Japanese paper yarn of neutral colours, the nests allow the materials’ properties to shape them, combined with hand-finishings typical of basketry.

The colour scheme, combined with the use of natural fibers, resemble the natural creation of a nest while keeping the technicality of weaving at the core of construction.
